At 18 Cheyenne is already working with a great young band and has scored a production deal and a management contract. But her story started at just 12 years old, when Cheyenne and her mom stumbled upon the hidden studio of her Producer Darren Clarke in the beautiful Central Coast town of San Luis Obispo, where she grew up. Even at this young age Cheyenne knew she wanted to be a performer and was ready to get to work! She started training with him and it was quickly clear that she had a gift for song writing and performing.
When she was 14, her producer put her together with some exciting new song writers and Cheyenne was discovered by her Manager Doyle Timmons. He immediately recognized her charming stage presence and signature voice.
By 2013 (At just 17 years old) Cheyenne was releasing her first Debut CD with a mixture of original music and some surprising covers from the 60’s & 70’s. Although Cheyenne has country roots and loves Faith Hill, Shania Twain and Loretta Lynn – her unique voice sounds like a new Stevie Nicks and the songs hint at recent singers like Duffy as well as the original 60’s diva Ronni Spector.
Cheyenne now plays with Darren Johnson and Drew Minnoch… as a band they’ve been performing extensively around the region and doors are opening for them to play further afield. They are working together with Timmons Clarke Entertainment to release her second album in 2014. She dreams of performing and travelling around the world, and with a great team behind her, fans agree she’s got what it takes.
